Accident Reporting and Investigation Training

Accident Reporting and Investigation Training

There is no legal duty to complete accident and incident investigation; but it is seen to be good practice. Some accreditation services require that investigations are conducted and will ask for evidence during application or renewal.

Claims brought by those involved in accidents or incidents are a good reason to complete accident Investigations. In order for insurance companies to successfully defend against claims they will need all the relevant information possible. Accidents and incidents which are reportable to the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) need to have a suitable and sufficient investigation completed which identifies the actions taken to prevent recurrence. It may also help mitigate any potential enforcement action.

Our course will provide delegates with the confidence, tools and techniques required to complete a suitable and sufficient accident investigation.
